The Recipes Nobody Wrote Down (Hardcover)
The Recipes Nobody Wrote Down (Hardcover)
Details
Most family cooking dies with the cook, because nobody ever wrote down the amounts. This book gets it out of one head and onto paper - the roast, the birthday cake, the thing only ever made at Christmas - along with who taught it, who refused to eat it, and what the kitchen sounded like.
For families with one cook everyone relies on, for anyone whose mother or grandmother measures by eye, and for a Christmas gift that comes back to the table for decades. Two hundred questions, with room to write recipes out in full and to paste in the handwritten card that is already falling apart.
