The Records I Kept (Hardcover)
The Records I Kept (Hardcover)
Details
Songs date a life more accurately than a diary does. This book uses them as the way in: the record that was always on, the first dance, the song sung to a baby at 3am, and the one that should be played at the end.
For music-loving parents and grandparents, for reminiscence work with older adults, and for anyone who finds a question about 1968 easier to answer than a question about themselves. Two hundred prompts arranged by life stage, with list pages for building a soundtrack. Written so the memory is what gets recorded - no song lyrics are reproduced.
