Details
Two books of the Bible are named for women, and this edition keeps them together, complete and in large print. Ruth is loyalty: a widow from Moab who will not leave her mother-in-law, and whose promise to go wherever Naomi goes is among the best-known lines in scripture. Esther is courage: an orphan made queen of Persia, who risks her life going to the king unbidden to save her people.
The King James text is set in 16-point type with wide margins, made to be read aloud. It is something a screen cannot give: a real book you hold, write in, and hand on.
Who it is for
Older readers who want scripture in print they can read, and the families who read with them. It also suits a study group, or a gift: a presentation page has room for the giver, the occasion and the year.
