Give Dad a reason to tell the Christmas stories he may never have been asked for, and give the family a book that keeps those stories in his own words. It holds 160 prompts, one to a page, with the rest of each page ruled for his answer. It is something a screen cannot give: a real book he can hold, write in, and hand on.
It starts small, with "What is the earliest Christmas you can remember, Dad?", and works through the years: the tree and the stocking, his first Christmas as a new father, his gravy method, the drive to the grandparents.

The book suggests using it across the kitchen table, on a Christmas Eve drive or on the long Boxing Day walk. The prompts speak to him directly, as Dad; some mention his wife, children and grandchildren.

The harder years are not skipped: a Christmas after a loss, a row mended, a Christmas spent alone. Most prompts are questions; the last section asks for whole stories, such as "Tell the story of the unexpected guest at Christmas." Each prompt sits at the top of its page in 16pt bold type, with 21 or 22 ruled lines beneath it and hummingbird-and-flower corners.

Returns
If it arrives damaged, misprinted, or not what you ordered, we replace it or refund you in full. It costs you nothing, and you will not be asked to post anything back — just email us with your order number and a photo. Please check your book when it arrives and tell us straight away, so we can have it reprinted quickly; we accept reports up to 30 days after delivery, for books, apparel, totes and caps alike.
