Our Review Policy

Some reviews on this site come from readers who received a free copy through our Advance Review Copy programme. We want you to be able to trust what you read here, so this is exactly how it works.

• Every free-copy review is disclosed. Those reviewers open with the line “I received a free copy of this book.”
• We never edit reviews. What a reader writes is what appears, positive or not.
• We never pay for reviews, and a free copy is never conditional on a rating. Reviewers are told upfront that critical reviews are welcome.
• We don’t remove reviews we disagree with. We only remove spam or abuse.
